Commissioning of an industrial steam generator in the agri-food industry

Soluciones Integrales de Combustión is carrying out the commissioning of an industrial steam generator in the agri-food industry of Alicante

The installation consists of the aforementioned industrial steam generator, with a capacity of 8 tons at a pressure of 10 bar, complemented by a feed tank and accumulator assembly, supplied by the company.

The plant’s thermal system operates using biomass from wood chips as fuel, thus reusing locally generated biomass for its operation, while also contributing to the development of circular economy processes in the surrounding area. With this project, the agri-food company joins other companies in the region that are transitioning from the use of fossil fuels and opting for local and sustainable fuels. In this way, the plant will begin fueling its thermal combustion process with wood chips, a renewable and recurring resource.

Industrial steam generator

The company Soluciones Integrales de Combustión manufactures industrial steam, hot water, and superheated water boilers under the SIC brand. These boilers can use traditional or alternative fuel burners, such as biomass in this case.

To adapt to the plant’s needs, the engineering team designs the firebox and grate to ensure compatibility with any type of fuel. In addition to a wide variety of products, Soluciones Integrales de Combustión offers specialized turnkey installation projects, from the engineering phase to the supply of products and spare parts, installation and commissioning, maintenance, and repair of all components used in a thermal installation.
