Combustion Solutions: installation of heating in greenhouses of Azerbaijan
Integral Combustion Solutions has recently commissioned two heating installations in acclimatized agri-food greenhouses in Azerbaijan for its client Prodinco. The receptor of the project is El Pilar Greenhouses (Greenhouses IEP), specialized company in the manufacture and construction of all type of greenhouses and industrial building for the agriculture.

The project commissioned by Integral Combustion Solutions includes an installation composed of four boilers and another with three boilers manufactured by the company Sincal, as well as industrial burners manufactured by E & M Combustion, model JBM HP 600-GLO, which will operate with natural gas – ligh oil, with a maximum power of 6,000 kW.
The hot water central heating systems are especially recommended for use in very cold weather zones or when it is necessary to increase the ambient temperature for extended periods of time. Thus, the heating of the water is produced in the boilers by gas or diesel burners, to distribute the hot water throughout the greenhouse through a network of steel pipes arranged under the crop. In addition, gases from combustion can be subsequently used in carbon enrichment processes.
This type of systems achieve a uniform heat distribution and allow to maintain a constant temperature regime.
The standard system of hot water that installs Greenhouses IEP is constituted by a deposit of fuel, a room of boilers operated through the system of climatic control, a burner, a pump of impulsion, the network of pipes, a thermostat, glasses expanders , insulation materials and safety control devices. The temperatures of exit of the water oscillate between 60 and 80ºC.
