Soluciones Integrales de Combustión has designed a compact Mobile Boiler Room installation to be installed in a pharmaceutical facility, a manufacturer of vaccines to fight against Covid-19. The installation provides a production of 3,000 kg of instant steam.

The thermal engineering project developed by Integral Combustion Solutions consists of a boiler room installed in a maritime container, taking into account the specific needs of the client and with the aim of making it easily transportable. In this specific case, the mobile boiler room occupies two 20-foot stackable shipping containers.

The upper container houses the water supply tank.

Flash steam boiler

The instantaneous vaporization boiler and the burner are installed in the lower container, which operates with natural gas and allows to produce an instantaneous vaporization of 3000kg. The use of the instantaneous vaporization boiler is ideal for sectors that demand steam in a few minutes and economically, and also for those plants that have little space for their location.

The operation of these steam generators consists of the circulation, through the heating coils, of the amount of water that is required at any given time according to the steam needs. This allows its operation to be very economical in terms of consumption and the elimination of radiation losses given the small volume of water inside the coils.

The combustion equipment used in this mobile boiler room is a JBM-HP compact monoblock burner developed by E&M Combustión for this application. The new generation JBM-HP burners are used with all types of liquid and gaseous fuels, prepared to overcome high overpressures in the combustion chamber. The standard range includes combustion equipment for traditional fuels such as diesel, natural gas and LPG, fuel oil and mixed gas-diesel and gas-fuel oil or hydrogen burners. The company is also capable of carrying out special executions for burning biogas, recycled oils and other types of alternative fuels.

The main role of mobile and containerized thermal solutions is to concentrate all the necessary equipment in a small space without taking up space in the plant or affecting the ongoing production process, as well as gaining speed and manufacturing flexibility and being able to easily change its location. according to the needs of the plant.

Integral Combustion Solutions designs and manufactures custom-made containerized thermal solutions with the aim of adapting to the specific needs of energy and activity of the client, such as pharmaceutical plants, farms, greenhouses, breweries, oil and gas facilities or well district heating networks. They are compact and concentrate all the necessary equipment for steam production in a small space.

For the food industry, Integral Combustion Solutions has recently designed a containerized boiler room installation, which is already operational in a recyclable plastic packaging factory for this sector in the Murcia region. The objective of this portable and containerized thermal solution is to gain speed and flexibility and to be able to easily change its location according to the needs of the plant.

In this case, the installation is located in a single 40-foot shipping container and provides a steam production of 1,000 kg at a pressure of 7 bar. It is equipped with a fire-tube boiler, a mixed diesel/gas burner, a water supply tank and softener, as well as an economizer, a purge cooler, the collector and an electrical panel. All equipment is previously interconnected and wired with each of the components before starting up.
