Soluciones Integrales de Combustión, a Spanish “turnkey” thermal engineering company”, is proceeding with the manufacture of a SIC vertical flash steam boiler for a manufacturer of rubber coatings and moldings for the chemical and mining application sectors, among others.

The vertical flash steam boiler, currently in the manufacturing process at the Soluciones Integrales de Combustión workshop, is a coil-type instantaneous vaporization equipment – ​​made with a spirally wound tube, which will work with a two-stage E&M 100 diesel burner. The team has a production of 2,000 kg. hour of steam at a pressure of 8 bar, to allow rapid response to changes in steam demand.

It is a type of boiler designed to produce steam in water quickly. Water is pumped through the tubes, which stay close together and hot so that the water feed is quickly transferred to superheated steam.

Flash steam boiler

Among the advantages of this type of instant vaporization boilers are its reduced volume compared to traditional boilers. In general, these steam generators are lighter, highly efficient and require little time to generate the steam from start-up, so they are less expensive to operate and reduce radiation losses in periods when there is no demand.

After completing the insulation, Soluciones Integrales de Combustión will undertake the start-up of the vertical vaporization boiler, which is expected to come into operation in Andalusia in a few weeks.
