SIC undertakes the installation of a distiller heating system at a waste plant
Soluciones Integrales de Combustion undertakes the installation of a distiller heating system in an industrial waste management plant, with the aim of modernizing and optimizing its production processes.
Steam plants transform water from its liquid state to a gaseous state, increasing its temperature with the use of fuels. The steam generated is used as heating energy in the distillers and fractionation columns of the industrial waste treatment and management plant. In this way, the heating plant provides energy for the distillation and evaporation processes of the factory, which specializes in the treatment, recovery, and valorization of raw materials through distillation treatments.

Distiller heating system
The process carried out by the distillers allows waste from numerous chemical processes from sectors such as the automotive, paint, pharmaceutical, and water treatment industries to have a second life and be reused as raw material in new industrial processes.
Soluciones Integrales de Combustión has added a mixed industrial burner from the manufacturer E&M Combustion to the line and has deployed the heating system equipment with the installation of lyres or looped pipes. These lyres facilitate heat dispersion, thus protecting the instrumentation equipment that measures the pressure of the pipes through which the steam circulates from the heat and pressure surges of the circuit. The lyres are the protective elements mounted between the measuring instrument and the processes. Another function of the lyres is to act as a thermal barrier, dissipating heat and reducing the risk of damage to the facilities.

The burner used in the heating system is the JBD 11500-GLO dual-fuel burner with air atomization, which operates with recycled oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG). The burner operates with a pressure of 250 mbar of recycled gas and oil.
The burners in the JBD family are low-temperature combustion systems, suitable for use with all types of liquid and gaseous fuels. The standard range is manufactured for use with traditional fuels such as diesel, natural gas, LPG, and fuel oil. The company also designs and manufactures dual-fuel gas-diesel and gas-fuel oil burners and also produces special versions for burning biogas, recycled oil, and other alternative fuels, such as biogas and hydrogen.
The main features of JBD burners include their ability to overcome high combustion chamber overpressures, the use of a double air register, and their low NOx emissions, which allow for stable and uniform combustion.
