THE MOST EXCLUSIVE IMAGES OF THE ASHALIM SOLAR THERMAL POWER STATION

Integral Combustion Solutions XXI offers the most exclusive images of the Ashalim Solar Thermal Power station, which has a power of 125 MW.

The company carried out the assembly and commissioning work of the combustion installation to guarantee its optimal operation from the point of view of reliability, energy efficiency and safety.

The Ashalim solar thermal power station has 5 large boilers and 25 MW of thermal power manufactured by the Spanish c0mpany Sugimat. It has five E&M Combustion industrial burners, which will run on natural gas and a mixture of diesel and natural gas. The five combustion units operate with air preheated to 250ºC and with a Flue Gas Recirculation System (F.G.R.) to reduce NOx emissions from the combustion of natural gas.

The use of preheated air in the burners makes it possible to significantly improve the performance of the plant, but at the same time increases emissions by increasing the flame temperature. The technical solution provided by E&M Combustion engineers allows to offset the increase in emissions by implementing a flue gas recirculation (F.G.R) system.
