The company   Soluciones Integrales de Combustión (Integral Combustion Solutions) has completed the “turnkey” commissioning of boilers and installations in a chemical plant, from which it has received provisional acceptance. The engineering, specialized in integral activities for the industrial combustion sector, has carried out the supply, manufacture and installation of boilers and plant installations, which run on natural gas as fuel.

Commissioning is the systematic procedure that ensures that all systems and components of the industrial thermal plant are designed, installed and tested, and that they operate and are maintained according to the customer’s operating requirements, taking corrective actions and verifying the performance of the facilities.

The turnkey process of commissioning of boilers and installations recently completed in this industrial processing plant for the manufacture of chemical products has carried out the verification, inspection and test of all the components of the thermal installation, from the equipment and instruments individually to the systems and subsystems in operation. After these phases, the cold commissining and the  start-up of the installation were carried out, as well as automated control and supervision.

During the assembly phase of the facilities, Soluciones Integrales de Combustión has also insulated the pipes and the equipment. This insulation system provides combustion facilities with thermal, acoustic and corrosion insulation, and is a key tool for personnel safety and energy efficiency in industrial facilities.

In addition, when it comes to energy efficiency, thermal insulation of equipment and pipes avoids energy losses that otherwise occur in pipes that have not been insulated, thus also reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions, and increasing the overall efficiency of the facility.
