Soluciones Integrales de Combustión SIC delivers a new water tube boiler for the pharmaceutical sector. The project developed through the “turnkey” modality includes all complementary equipment and facilities, and is currently in the implementation and testing phase in the client’s factory.

Steam is used in various critical applications in the production and preparation of medicines within the pharmaceutical industry, both in heating and sterilization processes, as well as drying and cleaning or humidification of air conditioning systems.

Water tube boiler for the pharmaceutical sector

In this project, the water tube boiler for the pharmaceutical sector has a production capacity of 5 tons per hour of steam at 12 bars of pressure. It will operate with mixed natural gas and diesel fuel, for which it will have a compact JBM-HP monoblock mixed burner with low NOx emissions, prepared to operate with high combustion chamber overpressures.

The turnkey project developed by Soluciones Integrales de Combustión includes. together with the water tube boiler, the manufacture of the stainless steel steam collectors and the degassing tank, the chimney, the supply of the burner that will operate with mixed fuel, the pump skid and the electrical panel, responsible for digitally controlling all the the room.

Water-tube boilers consist of a package of tubes through which water circulates and is crossed externally by the flow of hot gases, so that the process takes advantage of the heat generated by combustion to heat the water and produce steam. One of the main advantages of this type of water tube boiler is its ability to vaporize water in a very short time.
